WTVP proudly presents our 12th Annual

Congratulations to the 182 coolest kids in Central Illinois! They each wrote and illustrated their very own books and submitted them to the 12th annual WTVP READING RAINBOW Young Writers & Illustrators Contest. WTVP thanks you for sharing your awesome stories with us.

And although it's a tough job to choose, we're pleased to announce this year's local first-, second- and third-place winners. They’ve already been treated to a party in the WTVP Studio with their families and teachers, and you can look for them on-air, too. Every entrant received a Certificate of Achievement signed by series host LeVar Burton.

You all did a fantastic job and you're all winners in our book!

Keep reading, keep writing and keep sharing those stories! And be sure to watch READING RAINBOW every weekday at 2:30pm on WTVP!
