WTVP proudly presents our 11th Annual

Congratulations to the 155 coolest kids in Central Illinois! They each wrote and illustrated their very own books and submitted them to the 11th annual WTVP READING RAINBOW Young Writers & Illustrators Contest. WTVP thanks you for sharing your awesome stories with us. And although it's a tough job to choose, we're pleased to announce this year's local first-, second- and third-place winners. The four first-place winners advanced to the national awards competition, and all our local winners and their families were feasted at a special party in the WTVP studio. Every entrant received a Certificate of Achievement signed by READING RAINBOW host LeVar Burton. You all did a fantastic job and you're all winners in our book!

Keep reading, keep writing and keep sharing those stories. And be sure to watch READING RAINBOW every weekday at 2:30pm on WTVP.
